If you are a qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) and would like to enter the world of mainstream surveying, becoming a Home Inspector is the logical first step.
Our Diploma in Home Inspection (Dip HI) flexible learning package is designed to build upon the Domestic Energy Assessor (Cert DEA) qualification provides the only route to carrying out Home Condition Reports (HCRs) on residential property and is an excellent stepping stone towards achieving the Technical grade membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (Tech RICS) Home Inspectors can further upgrade their qualification to include valuations for secured lending and other professional services.
We have created a 10 month training and assessment programme for Domestic Energy Assessors wishing to qualify as Home Inspectors (HI) to carry out Home Condition Reports (HCR). An essential requirement is to possess the Cert DEA or Dip DEA qualifications.
Our programme provides all you need to obtain the national Home Inspector qualification (Level 4 Diploma in Home Inspection or Dip HI) - the essential qualification you need to produce HCRs.

The programme is flexible and covers all the technical knowledge and understanding required by the National Occupational Standards for Home Inspectors published by Asset Skills, through a blend of distance learning and intensive practical training.
