Article by: Stephen Callaghan
The company recently teamed up with journalist Sarah Pennells of the BBC Breakfast News unit to produce a TV sequence aiming to highlight what becoming a domestic energy assessor is all about.
Yvette Cooper the Minister responsible for HIPs appeared in the programme and remains undaunted despite negativity and vested interest from some quarters, including RICS and the Law Society. The Government media campaign will run for several weeks and will further reinforce the strong commitment of Ministers to ensure HIPs are introduced on 1st June.
Stephen Callaghan said, "Following our recent press release describing the Joint Venture between Connells and LSL Property Services plc we have had a huge response from the media, including the BBC and Sunday Times to name just two. Energy-assessors.com is now seen as the UK's leading Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) training provider and we are absolutely delighted to have been invited to participate in the BBC programme on HIPs. With over 800 new entrant students on our Learning Programmes we have already secured a market-leading reputation for our energy assessor and home inspector training."
